About CHAMPS

Dear Partners of Holland Christian Athletics,

The 2018-19 school year closed with just under 400 individual high school athletes participating in at least 1 of our 22 athletic programs. Almost 200 of our students participate as a multisport athlete in these programs. As a school we promote the benefits of participating in educational athletes and encourage students to participate in more than just one! Sports at Holland Christian are educational at the core as we enjoy God’s gift of sport. Maroons Athletics develop character and community through the many challenges and successes experienced through our teams. We have so much to be thankful for and celebrate from this past year and look forward to the start of another athletic year with a whole new group of students.

Holland Christian desires to have student-athletes transform our world for Jesus Christ. While we believe God’s gift of sport matters, we realize most of our athletes will not be competing beyond high school. Our coaching staff is trained to teach our athletes the competence needed to excel to the best of their ability in their sport and collectively with their team, but they also seek to instill traits that go far beyond any course, field, court or pool. We celebrate students who approach challenges with perseverance, passion and the character that is grounded in the Lordship of Christ. We desire athletes to grow in their role as a positive team member while displaying the humility and gratitude that is part of His Kingdom. CHAMPS (Christian High Athletics Member Projects Supporter) is the equipment and facilities fundraising arm for the Zeeland Christian and Holland Christian athletic programs. CHAMPS partners with community support to assist the athletic department in providing the resources needed for all of our athletic programs to be successful. We have a variety of opportunities for you to get involved.  Our Donation & Sponsorship Form has details for you to look over for the 2019-20 school year. In addition to the form, contact us for signage and creative sponsorship ideas including in-kind sponsorships. Due to the number and diversity of spectators attending, our local events are an attractive option for many of our sponsors marketing needs.
